What is Domiciliary Care.

Home care which is mostly referred to as domiciliary care involves receiving support to live independently in your home. This is done by professionals who are trained to look after people who require help to live independently in their own homes. Our carers are trained in care for MND. This may involve looking after patient who use of PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrotomy)  and RIG (Radiology Inserted Gastrotomy) feeding. This could be by using feeding pump or using bolus feeds. Break Barriers is also involved with care of tracheostomy patients.
